Dellas SPA is an Italian company that has reached the top of the international market in the production and marketing of diamond tools for the stone and ceramics sector. In 2023 Dellas spa celebrates an important industrial milestone involving many people from all over the world. In fact, the deep experience acquired over the years and the long-lasting collaboration with industry players have enabled the company to create a capital presence worldwide, guaranteeing timely assistance, cutting-edge product and process know-how and competitive local costs.
This is the case in Spain, where Dellas is present with a subsidiary in the north of the region and collaborates with local companies to distribute the products it has been designing and developing for 50 years for the stone and ceramics sector.
Since 2004, Dellas has been present in Spain with the branch Dellas Spain SL, located in Vigo. For almost 20 years, the large-diameter diamond discs for multidisc block cutters have been produced, assembled and installed at the customer's premises; all the products of the stone line manufactured in the Italian site are also marketed here.
The production plant in Pontevedra is equipped with machinery suitable for developing any type of diamond tool in the stone line. The branch manager is Natanael Yugueros, who over all these years has led the company to position itself at the top of the disc cutting market.
Dellas products for Spanish stone companies have also been marketed since the 1980s by JJ Dellas Española S.A., a company that produces diamond tools for the marble and natural stone sector. It is located in the Novelda area to meet the needs of workshops and factories processing marble, granite, agglomerate and other composite materials for construction and decoration.
Companies operating in the ceramics industry in Spain are supported by SEM Ingeniería, which distributes Dellas diamond tools from the Equipos Y Repuestos Azahar S.L. warehouse in Onda (Castellón). This is a company that historically serves companies equipped with automatic finishing plants and lines for the production of tiles of the leading brand. The collaboration between the two companies, which have become a benchmark in the sector in the area, began in 2017 and is coordinated by commercial director Antonio Sánchez Santos and Luca Masiero, Dellas' commercial director for the Spanish market.
Spain's geological diversity favours an important mining production, which has allowed Dellas' in-house laboratory to develop specific segments for the materials extracted and processed in this territory. In addition, the ceramic tradition of this region has allowed the Italian company to develop long-lasting partnerships and create new products in response to a competitive and constantly evolving market.
